About Loveland Photographic Society
The Loveland Photographic Society (LPS) (formerly the Loveland Camera Club) was formed in 1956. Now one of the largest photography groups in the state with over 200 members, LPS serves Northeastern Colorado, including Fort Collins, Greeley and Loveland.
A member of PSA (Photographic Society of America) since 2000, LPS is quickly gaining recognition in international competition. LPS is also a member of ACC (Associated Camera Clubs), the Loveland Chamber of Commerce, and the DLA (Downtown Loveland Association), helping to promote downtown Loveland while giving LPS members photojournalistic experience.
New technologies such as digital capture are strongly embraced with digital projection now representing a majority of competition entries. Film and print enthusiasts continue to be a vital part of our membership.
