Article I Name

The organization shall be named the "Loveland Camera Club".

Article II Headquarters

The Headquarters shall be in Loveland, Colorado, the exact location and mailing address to be established by the Board of Directors and defined in the By-laws.

Article III Objective

The objective of this club is to operate as a not for profit organization while promoting the art and science of photography in all of its facets through the association and camaraderie of its members and to conduct competitions, displays and meetings for the purpose of enhancing the knowledge and enjoyment of photography.

Article IV Membership

Any person with a sincere interest in-photography, regardless of sex, race, color, or creed, may become a member by conforming to the requirements of the by-laws. Active membership shall be the only class of membership and they shall have full voting rights

Article V Elected Officers

The elected officers shall make up the Board of directors and conduct the club's business. The elected officers are as follows:

  • President
  • Vice-President
  • Secretary
  • Treasurer
  • Program Chairperson
  • Past President
  • Membership Chair
  • Competition Chair

The duties of the officers are prescribed in the By - Laws. The officers are required to hold at least four (4) business meetings per year. Replacement of officers is defined in the By-laws.

Article VI Election of Officers and their Terms

The officers shall serve for one year as prescribed in the By-laws. The terms of the officers are established in the By-laws.

Article VII Meetings

Regular meetings of the Club shall be held at regular intervals as determined by the Board of Directors, but no less than quarterly

Article VIII Appointed Officers

The elected officers shall designate Appointed Officers to facilitate the operation of the Club as defined in the By-laws.

Article IX Duties of Officers

The duties of both the elected and appointed officers are defined in the By-laws.

Article X Fiscal Year

The fiscal year shall coincide with the calendar year, ie, January 1 through December 31.

Article XI Amendments

Amendments may be made to this document by a vote of two thirds of the active membership and with appropriate advanced notice of the voting.

Article XII By-laws

By-laws may be enacted to facilitate the business of the club by a majority vote of the members present at the meeting that the vote is taken. Advance notice must be given for to the membership before a vote may be taken on by-laws and by-law revisions.

Article XIII Ratification

The ratification of this document shall be by the unanimous vote of the duly elected officers as of the date of this document and that date shall become the effective date of the document.

Article XIV Dissolution

The procedure for dissolution of the Club is defined in the By-laws.
