Mission:
The primary objective of the ACC Rep is to invite members to participate in the mini conference competition sponsored by the ACC. Although the ACC Rep does not hold a voting position on the Loveland Photographic Society (LPS) Board of Directors, the chairperson should make every effort to attend all board meetings (six scheduled per year: first Tuesday of odd months) to help direct the club in the decision making process.
Basic Duties:
- Acts as the spokesperson for the Loveland Photographic Society to assure participation in ACC sponsored events.
- Acts as the committee head for hosting the ACC Mini Conference when LPS hosts the event.
- Collects submissions for ACC competitions.
- Posts ACC rules and assures that LPS participants adhere to the rules.
Time Commitment:
There is no set time commitment. It is normally expected that the ACC Rep will keep the club advised of ACC events and activities.
Benefits:
The ACC Rep seeks to ensure that club members can participate in ACC events and compete in a regional forum. Personal benefits include getting to help other members stay informed while furthering personal interests in the field of photography.
