Hospitality Chair

Mission:

The primary objective of the Hospitality Chair is to provide refreshments for the monthly membership meeting. Although the Hospitality Chair does not hold a voting position on the Loveland Photographic Society (LPS) Board of Directors, the chairperson should make every effort to attend all board meetings (six scheduled per year: first Tuesday of odd months) to help direct the club in the decision making process.

Basic Duties:

1. To provide refreshments, and see that there are ample plates, cups, utensils, and napkins.
2. To enlist help from other members when needed.
3. Make these purchases then submit a receipt to the treasurer for reimbursement each month.

Time Commitment:

There is no set time commitment. The chair must procure and set up refreshments at each meeting, or find someone willing to perform the duties in cases where the chairperson will be absent.

Benefits:

Refreshments encourage members to attend meetings and participate in the social time allotted at each meeting. Personal benefits include getting to help other members enjoy the allotted time to socialize.
